Six young women entering STEM disciplines have been awarded a 2016 University of Waterloo HeForShe IMPACT scholarship.

Science student Anya Forestell to speak at HeForShe Anniversary event in NYC

Anya Forestell, a student in the Department of Physics and Astronomy student, will be speaking today at the second anniversary celebration of the UN Women's HeForShe movement for gender equity.

Forestell will share her experiences as being a woman in STEM. The event will be held at the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) event in New York City.

Science HeForShe Impact Scholarship winners arrive at Waterloo
