How I get involved: Throughout university, I have been a part of the K-pop Dance Group, Limelight Dance Crew, where we organize weekly dance tutorials, film dance covers, and do performances within the community. This year, I started to participate in Science Ambassadors to share my academic and social experiences and advice with future students.
Why I love my program
Life Physics is such an interesting program as it focuses upon Biology and Physics with a little bit of Chemistry on the sidelines. This program allows me to have an open mind and see how Physics is applied to Biology, which is demonstrated in the courses I have taken (Ex. PHYS 380 – Molecular and Cellular Biophysics). Another reason why I love my program is the people around me. The students and staff are very supportive with one another and they are always there to lend a helping hand! :)
Why University of Waterloo?
I came to the University of Waterloo for their co-op program as it gives me an opportunity to explore around jobs related to my field of study. I believe the co-op experience has made a big impact on my life as it allowed me to use my knowledge from an academic setting to the workplace and it helps me prepare for my future career goals!
