Why I love my program

My favourite thing about my program is the flexibility it provides. Honours Science gives me the opportunity to complete my minors with enough space to take the courses I need for professional school. I'm able to explore courses from a variety of disciplines and customize my degree the way I want.

Why University of Waterloo?

One of the things that brought me to Waterloo was the co-op program and the opportunities it provides to students. I was originally admitted in Biology Co-op, but I eventually switched in Honours Science because I wanted to complete my degree quicker and I no longer needed co-op. However, even though I am no longer in co-op, I can still complete a similar certificate through the EDGE program which gives students not in co-op a chance to develop the same professional skills and experience through work or volunteer opportunities.
