Stream of study: Co-op

Minor: Possibly Earth Science

Career goal: I don't know yet, but I have enjoyed the experiences I have had in both lab work and at municipal governments.

Favourite food: Sushi

How I get involved: My first involvement was with the departmental club BUGS (biology undergraduate society) as the first year rep. Since first year, I have continued to be a member of the BUGS executive team organizing social and academic events for science students. As well I get involved with science orientation week, improv club, and science ambassadors.

Why I love my program

I got into this program because of my initial interest into the sciences and specifically biology. I chose environmental science because it includes aspects of all science disciplines. I continue to love it thanks to the variety of hands on experiences examining specimens in a lab and in the field.

Why University of Waterloo?

I was attracted to UW because it offered an environmental science program that I could enter in first year with multiple specializations to choose from. As well I liked the look and layout of the school. It's a big campus with plenty to explore and lots of places to eat and study.
