Stream of study: Co-op
Career goal: To travel to as many places as I can using geophysics to analyze the rocks beneath us to do meaningful scientific research.
Favourite food: Chai Tea Latte
How I get involved: I get involved at UW by staying connected to my residence from first year as part of the Student Activities Team, sharing my knowledge as part of the robotics Science design team, promote things I love as the outreach of WATROX, and talk to all sorts of cool people as a Science Ambassador!
Why I love my program
I love my program because it’s full of people like me. Earth science is a multidisciplinary science so I get to learn a little bit of everything, as well as a lot of rocks. We get to go on field trips and adventures outdoors with our classmates and professors during the day and bond by the campfire at night.
Why University of Waterloo?
I chose UW because there are so many amazing things they do for earth scientists. I get to go to class in the same building as a half a dozen dinosaurs, and go work outside in the field during my labs to gain real experience.
