Why I love my program

The optometry profession has always been my dream since high school! After learning that the University of Waterloo was the only school in Canada to have the optometry program taught in English, I knew my goal was to work hard and achieve a spot in the program. I completed my undergraduate degree here at the University of Waterloo in the Honours Science program and I can definitely say that it has prepared me well for the optometry program. I'm super excited to learn more about the field and work alongside my fellow peers and clinicians!

Why University of Waterloo?

I chose UWaterloo because of the opportunities that it provides its students in both the academic and social environment. I knew that choosing UWaterloo would provide me with the foundation necessary for success in the future and that is why I was so sure about my acceptance once I received it! As a current student, I can confidently say that I made the right decision and have no regrets whatsoever!
