Career goal: I want to be in a position that allows me to use my problem solving skills. My childhood dream of becoming an astronaut still hasn't died yet, so it's a slight possibility in two decades.
How I get involved: Other than being a Science Ambassador, I was also one of the Fall 2022 Science Orientation Finance Coordinators, and the treasuer of the Zoology Club.
Why I love my program
Science and Business allows me to pursue my passion for science while also learning about the field of business. Since I still don't have a specific career goal, Science and Business lets me keep my options open, preparing me for both fields. The co-op aspect of the program also means I can take advantage of Waterloo's co-op platform.
Why University of Waterloo?
The University of Waterloo is the only university (based on my very limited research in high school) that offers interdisciplinary programs like Science and Business and Biotech/Economics. The University of Waterloo also has the largest co-op platform in Canada which was appealing, given that I wasn't interested in post-grad (now I'm not so sure).
