Why I love my program

I really wanted to study natural sciences and get some hands-on, real-world experience. Ecology, for me, was the perfect balance of earth sciences and biology. There are plenty of opportunities to get engaged with the environment in laboratory/field courses, which is the best part! Also, the professors here are terrific.

Why University of Waterloo?

It's a tie between co-op and the EIT building. I went on a campus tour during high school and absolutely adored the Earth Sciences Museum. I knew right then that I wanted to study next to fossils- and I still do!
