Year: 3
Stream of study: Co-op
Minor: Biology
Career goal: I am still undecided about whether or not I want to pursue a job in therapy or Industrial/Organizational Psychology. My ideal career would be person-centric, where I would have the opportunity to work with teams and use my knowledge of human behaviour to help problem-solve.
Favourite food: Sushi!
How I get involved: Shoetag fitness classes, Muay Thai, volunteering at the food bank, volunteering as a note taker, residence tours of MKV, UWP and CMH. I worked for the SUO for a bit too!
Why I love my program
Psychology has always been a huge passion of mine, but I've also always been very scientifically-minded. Life Science Psychology gives me the opportunity to learn the human biology behind psychological processes. This program allows me to study everything I am interested in with a lot of flexibility.
Why University of Waterloo?
When I first visited Waterloo I felt right at home. Everyone was so friendly, I could just see the next 5 years of my life and knew I needed to come here! It also helped that there is a co-op program here, because I wasn't set on any one career path entering university, and wanted the opportunity to explore my options.
