Why I love my program

I love the Science and Business program because of how diverse and unique it is, allowing me to explore both disciplines. I enjoy both science and business and thought this was a great fit for me! I love that this program gives me the opportunity to develop an in-depth knowledge of science and develop technical skills while gaining practical business skills. I also love that the science and business workshops provide us with the opportunity to work on improving our interpersonal and communication skills which is very useful for co-op placements and the future! This program challenges me to think in different ways and make connections between both disciplines.

Why University of Waterloo?

I chose the University of Waterloo because I was initially fascinated by its amazing co-op program. I thought it was awesome that most programs offered the ability to gain experience and set students up for success when they graduate. Once I came to visit the campus, I felt like the University was a little city of its own and I really enjoyed being in the community.
