Science Ambassador

Oscar

Year: 4

Stream of study: Regular

Specialization: Earth Sciences

Career goal: The airline industry!  It doesn't matter which airline I end up with after graduation but the end goal for me is Air Canada

Favourite food: Steak and sushi

How I get involved: In terms of clubs, I mainly help out with worship in a christian fellowship club called cCCF. I also volunteer at several events at the Region of Waterloo International Airport such as Girls Can Fly and Aviation Fun Day. I will also help coordinate TA's for the aviation classes, as well as planning for some aviation events like when Chris Hadfield comes!

Why I love my program

For me Science and Aviation is truly a one of a kind program, nowhere else to be seen in Canada.  My love for science started as far back as I can remember, and my passion for aviation extends way back into my childhood.  Growing up, I never lost sight of my childhood dream, and that's why I'm here to stay.

Why University of Waterloo?

Mainly the one of a kind program. As for the campus, I love how everything is encased within one location bound by Ring Road. So everything I attend on-campus is just a short walk away.
