How I get involved: Along with being a science ambassador, I am volunteering as a research assistant at The Spafford lab. I also work in internal relations at the UW Medlife club and am part of an Intramural soccer team.

Why I love my program

I love the biomedical science program, as it consistently pushes me out of my comfort zone and is helping me evolve into a better and more well rounded student with each passing semester. It has also helped me quench my curiosity for different science and non-science fields by allowing me to take several different courses as electives.

Why University of Waterloo?

Ever since high school, I have always heard about the University of Waterloo and its ability to groom not only intelligent but also hardworking individuals that have helped reshape their respective fields with revolutionary ideas and discoveries. Along with having exceptional academic programs, the university encourages a sense of community amongst its students by offering a list of clubs and extracurricular activities for its students to get involved in.
