Why I love my program

There are so many cool, mind blowing topics, as well as really awesome projects. For example, in my Stars class, we simulated main sequence stars and then added a condition where we effectively simulated tiny black holes inside the stars to see what would happen to the main sequence. The physics community is also super fun and supportive, and I’ve made so many great friends.

Why University of Waterloo?

For me, UW and the city of Waterloo offer the energy of a university town but the comfort of being close to home. It’s the perfect balance for me. I also loved the opportunity that co-op provided, in allowing me to build my skills and experience different research topics.
