How I get involved: I have been involved at the university as an Off-Campus Don, a Science Orientation Leader, a Science Orientation Coordinator, a Science Ambassador, the Science Society Speaker for the Board of Directors, a BIOL 110 Teaching Assistant and as an executive member of the Biology Undergraduate Society (B.U.G.S).
Why I love my program
The program is very flexible and I can choose to specialize and focus on whatever aspect of Biology I like the most! I really like animal biology and I am excited that to take courses in this field for the rest of my time at the University of Waterloo. I also like the fact that I can gain work experience through co-op and get a taste of different types of jobs.
Why University of Waterloo?
The science faculty at the University of Waterloo was very welcoming from the very beginning when I was looking into what schools I was going to apply to in grade 12. I toured campus before I applied and I liked the atmosphere of the university and the amazing labs and resources it provides for its students!
