Thank you for stepping forward to help lead the University of Waterloo with your passion, experience and talent.

The University’s continued success depends on a vibrant environment rooted in good governance. Working together, our mission is to provide that governance to enable the University of Waterloo to continue its important work in exceptional academics, groundbreaking research and dynamic innovation platforms.

As Waterloo embarks on tackling global challenges that will have far-reaching impacts on our society, now is a critical time for the stewardship of this University. Waterloo is Canada’s innovation university and our role as a global change-maker will only continue to flourish through the successful execution of a number of bold strategies.

The University of Waterloo has the unique opportunity to lead the discussion on topics from innovation to entrepreneurship and the future of work. Because of our continued need to meet our institutional ambitions, it is essential that our University attracts and benefits from the knowledge and experience of talented and thoughtful Board members.
