The Sound of Music

Join us for an information session about accessible media, a light lunch and an excursion to attend a live audio described performance of the Sound of Music at the Stratford Festival.

What is a described performance?

A live audio describer gives details of costumes, sets and key on-stage action.  Delivered via a headset, the description supplements the spoken dialogue without interfering with it.

Cost

$100/person  Includes bus transportation from the University of Waterloo to Stratford and back, a bagged lunch, a presentation and performance ticket.

The Music Man at Stratford Festival

Join us as we head to Stratford for the fourth year!

Participate in a guided “Touch Tour”, in which we will be able to touch and handle fabrics, props and costume items from the play. Enjoy a boxed lunch and then attend an audio-described performance of the Music Man. (This performance has a live audio describer who gives details of costumes, sets and key on-stage action.)

Price includes boxed lunch, return bus transportation from the UW Optometry Clinic to Stratford and a ticket to the show – and it includes the taxes too!

Cost: $125 per person
