I hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Recently, I began my MASc program at the University of Waterloo, where I am focusing on the intersection of robotics and human-robot interaction. My passion lies in developing intelligent systems that can integrate into human environments. My research is centered on designing social robots that address real-world challenges, such as improving care for aging populations. I am fascinated by the potential of robotics to bridge the gap between advanced technology and human needs, creating solutions that are not only innovative but also empathetic and user-friendly. Under the co-supervision of Prof. Yue Hu in the AIR Lab and Dr. Moojan Ghafurian in SIRRL, I am working on projects that explore how user-centered design principles can enhance the effectiveness of social robots for health monitoring. By combining my background in AI, ML, and robotics, I aim to contribute to advancements that transform healthcare and improve quality of life.
