SUMMARY:Virtual Guest Speaker - Gabriela Sanchez
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:UNCOVERING WOMEN'S CULTURAL HERITAGE IN LATIN AMERICAN MURALISM
\n\nThis presentation explores some aspects of mural art made by women\,\n
and their various forms of representation. It questions whether the\nconst
ruction of an artistic field\, made of and by women\, allows for\nthe poss
ibility of leaving a mark in art history\,\na space where their contributi
on goes unnoticed even today. It will\nalso establish how women themselves
are those who reconstruct\na history that allows them to be made visible
 in a public and\nmonumental space.
