The University of Waterloo Staff Association (UWSA) is pleased to announce that we have reached a draft agreement in principle with the University of Waterloo (UW). This agreement reflects several years of effort and discussion to update the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), which has been in place since 2008 and defines the UWSA’s role as the voice for UW staff.
The UWSA is hosting consultation sessions for all UWSA Members on June 23 and 24. These sessions will provide the background and details of the proposed changes to the current MOA. Members of the MOA team will be available to answer questions. The sessions will be one hour in length and hosted on Microsoft Teams. Meeting invitations have been distributed to all current UWSA Members.
