Getting unstuck: Tools to deal with conflict

Conflict is a part of life.  Intellectually, we “know what to do”, but we tend to remember those situations when we did not handle things well.

With escalated conflict, we often feel “stuck”, whether repeating behaviour and thoughts, or feeling unsure how to change.

Whatever conflict is in your life, you can experience it differently.

We’ll spend the hour reviewing some perspectives on conflict to reconsider areas where we may feel bogged down or unable to move.

As well, we’ll explore tools to perhaps interrupt where we’re stuck, fostering a different experience or path through our conflict.

Join us for this interactive workshop with Julie Friesen, Director of Conflict Resolution and Mediation Services with Community Justice Initiatives (CJI).

CJI is a local, non-profit organization offering restorative justice services and alternative experiences of conflict servicing the larger K-W, and Cambridge area.
