Instructor: Renate Donnovan works and studies at the University of Waterloo. Renate is the first Student Wellness Coordinator in the Faculty of Engineering (currently on secondment to the FoE, Dean’s Office). She has over 15 years’ experience supporting and coaching individuals in the area of wellbeing and stress management. She is also a part-time PhD candidate in the School of Public Health. For the past 10 years Renate has been an avid meditative doodler and doodling teacher. Meditative doodling is one of the primary tools she uses to manage the stresses of life, work, family, school and the global pandemic. Renate is excited about sharing one of her favourite past-times and coping tools with you. And we are grateful to Renate for volunteering to lead this workshop for staff and family members!
Supplies needed:
The minimum supplies needed are a pen and some paper. However, if you have the items listed below, you’ll have a more enjoyable experience:
- Black ultra-fine-tip marker
- Black chisel-tip marker
- ruler
- 10-12 sheets of plain paper
