The University of Waterloo Staff Association (UWSA) is pleased to announce that we have reached a draft agreement in principle with the University of Waterloo (UW). This agreement reflects several years of effort and discussion to update the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), which has been in place since 2008 and defines the UWSA’s role as the voice for UW staff.
The UWSA is excited to see recent updates to the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) implemented. These updates include key improvements that will help us continue to improve working conditions for staff at Waterloo. This session is the best way for UWaterloo staff to become informed and share your voice.
The UWSA is hosting this consultation session for all UW staff on July 12, with another on July 27. This session will provide the background and details of the proposed changes to the current MOA. Members of the MOA team will be available to answer questions. The session will be one hour in length and hosted on Microsoft Teams. Join us by placing the session link in your calendar.
