Craft Show raises $1,400 for 2 scholarships

Sue Fraser, chair of the 22nd UWSA Craft Show announced that almost $1,400 was raised for the UW Senate Scholarship and UWSA Award following a very successful craft sale. Held in the DC Fish Bowl, Nov. 19 and 20, 11 vendors offered handmade items to students, faculty and staff at very reasonable prices, and donated 10% of their sales to the two scholarships. Items donated by local sponsors were placed on a silent auction table with all proceeds going to the 2 funds.
