A message from newly-installed President Rose Vogt
The UWSA Board consists of nine (9) directors, some of whom hold the position of President, Past-President, President-Elect, Secretary, Treasurer. Annually the President-Elect and two directors are elected to serve three-year terms. Joe Allen, UWSA Chief Returning Officer, gave his report today at the UWSA Annual General Meeting. The following candidates were successful in their bids for election.
Lawrence Folland, President-Elect.
Jackie Serviss, Director (3-year term)
Dave McDougall, Director (3-year term)
Lawrence Folland resigned from his role as Director to accept the position of President-Elect. This resulted in a vacancy on the Board of Directors.
At the first meeting of the 2018 Board, traditionally held immediately after the AGM, and according to UWSA policy and procedures, the Board appointed Terry Labach to serve as Director until the next AGM.
The Board also appointed Agata Antkiewicz to serve as Treasurer, and Annette Dietrich, to serve a Corporate Secretary.
