More time to volunteer
Long-time UWSA volunteer Dianne Foreman is retiring from UW after 37 years of working on campus. Her personal accomplishments during her time here are nothing but admirable.
Dianne’s strong volunteer involvement with UWSA included serving on the Social Committee, working at the annual golf tournament, overseeing the silent auction table at the annual craft sale, and registering guests attending the UWSA Winterfest. Her organizational skills and willingness to step forward when asked for help, proved invaluable to the UWSA social activities.
Dianne also managed to find time to help students move into residence in the fall, serve food at the Arts Orientation Picnic, hand out alumni pins to graduates during Fall Convocation, and serve as an active member of the Psych Social Group.
UWSA extends heartfelt gratitude to Dianne for her years of volunteer service. A huge sigh of relief could be heard when Dianne announced that, although she is retiring, she will still be involved with UWSA social events.
“I just wanted to let you know that I should still be able to help with (UWSA) events after I retire. Just let me know when and where.”
