Tim has been a UWaterloo employee for over 20 years (started full time in 1994), and is currently employed by the University of Waterloo Dana Porter Library as a “Liaison Librarian”.  Tim’s previous Staff Association committees experience includes the former Staff Grievance Committee, and the Joint Health and Safety Committee (which he co-chaired). Tim’s main interest in being a board member is to help make the University of Waterloo one of the top workplaces in Canada. Together we can do it!

Annette Dietrich

I have just celebrated my 25th anniversary as an employee of the University of Waterloo. I am currently the Manager, Graduate Studies in the Electrical & Computer Engineering department. I previously served a two year term as a UWSA Director allowing me the honor of serving on the Staff Relations Committee (SRC), as well as both the UWSA Communications/Membership and Nominating Committees.

Agata Antkiewicz

I intend to use my experience in management and my relationship-building skills to advocate for and empower staff. I hope to serve as Director of the UWSA Board to further improve the university as a workplace and to share my passion for equity, opportunity and personal growth.

I strongly believe that we all have a part to play in making Waterloo a great place to work and that as a Director I can do more to make this happen. I believe in the importance of maintaining a healthy work/life balance, and I look forward to continuing to support staff efforts to achieve this, as my role allows. Christine Wagner

I joined the University of Waterloo in 2011 and represented the UWSA as a past member on the Pension & Benefits Committee. I believe that our University is a great place to work, but I understand that the employee experience varies between units across campus. As a Director, I appreciate the opportunity to learn about and bridge these gaps wherever possible, ensuring employees are engaged and rewarded for driving the success of our institution forward.
