DESCRIPTION:Equity\, diversity\, inclusion and anti-racism training has bec
 ome an\nessential part of professional development initiatives across\nind
 ustries. However\, post-training feedback often reports medium or\nlower l
 evels of efficiency and knowledge transfer associated with\nequity trainin
 g programs. By revisiting cases of providing equity\ntraining\, this works
 hop will identify and explain the challenges\nassociated with delivering a
 nd receiving such initiatives. The session\nwill compare the employees' ex
 pectations of equity training with the\nrequirements of professional devel
 opment programs. During the session\ndiscussions\, we will examine the gap
 s and provide practical\nsuggestions on how to enhance EDI-related trainin
 g within individual\ndepartments.
