DESCRIPTION:Summary \n\nMany categorical response variables have a natural 
 order to their\nlevels. We refer to them as ordinal variable (data). This 
 workshop\nwill show participants how to estimate and make inferences about
 \nordinal data through the proportional odds model. Topics covered in\nthi
 s workshop includes introducing the proportional odds model\,\ndiscussing 
 the model assumptions\, interpretation of coefficients\,\nsignificance tes
 ting\, interactions between variables and the use and\ninterpretation of d
 ummy variables. Model checking methods such as\nresidual plots and goodnes
 s-of-fit tests will also be covered. Several\nmethods for model selection 
 will be included.\n\nRegistration\n[/statistical-consulting-and-collaborat
