David RomagnoliBoard member since 2013

David Romagnoli, a retired Professional Engineer after over 40 years, having obtained his BASc and MASc in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo. Started as a Project Manager
responsible for managing new construction projects in the ICI sectors for a large local general contractor, Ball Brothers Ltd.

After working through the cyclical pattern of 'new construction' David noted that there are many more existing buildings to be maintained than new buildings to be built in any given year, so he changed career paths to instead focus on the emerging commercial/institutional 'building restoration' and 'building science' fields and co-founded Cornerstone Structural Restoration, a high-rise building and parking garage restoration contracting firm working throughout southern Ontario. David also co-founded Courtland Engineering Consultants, a building restoration and building science consulting engineering company with related environmental and geotechnical services, also working throughout southern Ontario.

David and his wife Lynn have 5 children together and live on a
farm outside of Maryhill.
