Sunday, September 14, 2014 — 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM EDT

The Waterloo Aboriginal Education Centre at St. Paul's, in partnership with the City of Waterloo, is putting on a mini Pow Wow, showcasing local Aboriginal talent (various music genres), plus introductory exhibits of traditional dancing, drumming, and singing demonstrations.

Our space in Uptown Waterloo will be at Erb and King. As this event is held during Open Streets, King Street will be blocked off. This mini pow wow will provide a small taste of what the full Pow Wow promises on Saturday, September 27 at St. Paul's University College.

We will have sample pow wow foods by The Tin Roof, also known as Kakatoosh Korner, and there will be a few craft vendors present as well.
