Closing over the holiday period

Please note our opening hours during the holidays:

  • Student and Guest Services closes at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, December 20 and will reopen on Thursday, January 2 at 8:30 a.m.
  • The residence closes at 10 a.m. on Sunday, December 22 and will reopen Sunday, January 5 at 10 a.m.
  • The Graduate Apartments are open the entire time and we have on-call staff available 24/7.

St. Paul’s welcomes Carold Institute Visiting Fellow

In a new collaboration between the Carold Institute for the Advancement of Citizenship in Social Change and St. Paul’s University College, the Carold institute Visiting Fellow program will bring to campus former or current Alan Thomas Fellows of the Carold Institute to engage with students, faculty, and the public on social innovation for a more just and humane society in Canada and beyond. Fellows will spend a week on campus, during which they will give a public lecture, lead classroom discussions, and meet with students and faculty.

First crop of GreenHouse innovators pitch for social change

Students from St. Paul’s GreenHouse answered the question, “What are you growing?” during a public open house last night to officially celebrate the new innovation incubator on Waterloo’s campus.

In Memoriam: Joseph Hulse

St. Paul's visiting professor Joe Hulse passed away recently, at the age of 90. Joe taught in our International Development program and lived in the Grad Apartments at St. Paul's. We extend our deepest sympathies to his family.

St. Paul’s students Think Pink, go bald

Taya Devlin, a St. Paul’s Don and Planning student, knows that women with shaved heads make many people uneasy, but at the men’s basketball half-time show on November 16, she’ll be doing just that in support of breast cancer awareness. In fact, this action has been on her bucket list for some time.
