In fifteen years of Indigenous services at St. Paul’s University College, there have been various Indigenous camps offered on campus, but last week was the first Indigenous Leadership Entrepreneurship and DesignThinking (LEAD) camp ever offered here—or anywhere.

Vaiva Dzemionas, BSW student, loves music. She’s been playing since she was five years old and was trained in voice as a teen. Vaiva is also a talented composer and enjoys combining her musical skills to create beautiful melodies.

Congratulations! Battle of the Books Winner - Lori Campbell

Every October since 2013, the Waterloo Public Library has invited local leaders and celebrities to compete in their Battle of the Books. This year’s winner is St. Paul’s Waterloo Indigenous Student Centre Director, Lori Campbell. Like the other participants in the 2018 event, Lori Campbell was invited to champion a book of her choice. She chose the autobiography Halfbreed.
