Hands on experience key to success in technology sector

This may be the digital generation but there are skills they're still missing that may keep them from landing a good job in the business, information and communication technology sector.

There are jobs to be had too. But companies like Google, Adobe and others have told the Information and Communications Technology Council about 45% of new hires have cost them too much and they're preparing to let them go. Those that are still left after probationary periods are considered mediocre, said Dennis Hitchmough, regional project manager Ontario ICTC.
