A message from Ginny Dybenko, Executive Director, University of Waterloo Stratford Campus

Ginny Dybenko, Executive Director, University of Waterloo Stratford CampusThis year was a pivotal one for the University of Waterloo in delivering on our objective of creating the faces of Canada’s Digital Future. And what a remarkable year it was!

It began with the opening of our amazing facility in Stratford and our first undergraduate (Bachelor of Global Business and Digital Arts) cohort. We attracted twice as many students as we expected – making it the largest class for an inaugural program in University of Waterloo history! We also welcomed our second graduate (Master of Digital Experience Innovation) cohort and saw our first class off to meaningful jobs in the digital workspace. Finally, we engaged over twenty companies to provide us relevant projects in support of our curriculum creating a truly unique experiential digital media learning environment.

It has been so rewarding to see it all come together.

Partnerships with our many communities are so very important to us, to our students, to our research, to our ability to get things done and to our goal of providing the most relevant graduates for industry.

There are many ways that you can help – come talk to us. You may be interested in providing assistance in the way of funding for our priority projects in support of our students or technology, or providing student projects, or volunteering, or even teaching.

Please contact us with any questions that you might have. Or come visit us. We’d love to give you a tour and chat about how we might work together.
