Have you ever been curious about what it takes to design and develop an app? The Stratford School of Interaction Design and Business, a satellite campus of the University of Waterloo, is hosting an App Design workshop for grade 11 and 12 students. In this workshop, students will learn how app development works – brainstorm, develop an idea, evaluate the competition, develop digital prototypes, and practice pitching your product! It’s also vitally important to market new apps effectively – students will get a glimpse into creating ad campaigns to drive business goals.
The App Design workshop provides some great insight into what goes on in the Global Business and Digital Arts program – a great undergraduate degree option for students interested in the combination of creativity, technology, and business.
The workshop will be hosted at the Fergus Library – 190 St Andrew St W, Fergus, ON, N1M 1N5 – on Friday, January 31st (PA Day) from 10:15 am to 3 pm. Students are asked to bring their own lunch. Please fill out the registration form to attend!
