Game Design Camp, hosted by University of Waterloo Stratford campus in partnership with the Stratford Accelerator Centre, The Games Institute and the Canadian Digital Media Network was experiential learning at its best.
Working in teams, game designers, developers, players and students created a one button game for the Christie® MicroTiles® wall that had potential for commercialization.
Participants leveraged the experience of Camp Mentors throughout the process. Teams pitched their demos and marketability framework to a panel of judges - with the winning team being awarded support (valued at $2000) to commercialize their one-button game.
