SUMMARY:The AI tsunami – Where will it take us?
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to Research Talks\, a public event and panel\n
discussion featuring guest speakers Kesha Bodawala - P & P\nOptica\, E
van Jones - Stitch Media\, and Sirisha Rambhatla and Will\nZhao - Uni
versity of Waterloo.\n\nArtificial Intelligence (AI)\, the study of machin
es and software that\nexhibit intelligence\, is transforming every aspect
of society\, from\nfinancial services\, technology\, healthcare\, manufact
uring\, and more.\nAI is dependent on data\, that is\, AI uses data to mak
e predictions so\nhumans can make data-driven decisions. With the explosio
n of data over\nthe past two decades\, there is an AI tsunami on our thres
hold. So\, we\nare left with the question\, “Where will AI take us?”\n

ying innovation from organizational\, educational\,\nand engineering persp
ectives\, particularly using multimodal methods\nthat draw on semiotics an
d/or artificial intelligence techniques. His\nmost recent research on arti
ficial intelligence has been published in\nleading journals such as _IEEE
Transactions on Cybernetics._\n\nWHAT’S IN YOUR FOOD? ASSESSING THE QUA
