The Student Awards & Financial Aid office will check and electronically confirm your enrolment/registration status. Once confirmed, the funds will be released by the Ministry after classes begin in January.
This process will be ongoing throughout the winter term.
What can I do to make sure I get my funding at the start of the term?
- Submit all of your required documentation - You can check the status of your application by logging into your OSAP account.
- Complete a Promissory Note or pay your fees in full by the due date - To defer payment of part or all of your fees using financial aid, you need to submit the Promissory Note.
- Check that your course load and/or program match - Your course load and program must be indicated accurately on your OSAP application.
Use the Application Update form (PDF) if you need to change or update information on your OSAP application.
Please note that OSAP funds are NOT directed to the University to pay your tuition and fees. Once your OSAP funding has been deposited to your bank account, you are responsible for paying any fees owing.
