When will scholarships, bursaries and awards be applied to my student account?
Undergraduate scholarship, bursary, and award amounts indicated as Anticipated Aid, will be automatically applied to your student account balance provided your registered status is Fees Arranged as follows:
- in early-October for Fall awards
- in early February for Winter awards
- in early June for Spring awards
Award decisions made after the above dates, will normally be applied to the student account on a weekly basis during the applicable term.
If you used this award funding to make your Fee Arrangement, then the awards will be used to clear up the outstanding balance that may be showing on your account.
If you are not yet Fees Arranged, please refer to Student Financial Services for details on how to become Fees Arranged.
Award Refunds
If you paid your fees in full from other funding, then the award will be sent as a cheque to the mailing address you have listed on Quest as follows:
- by mid-October for Fall awards
- by mid-February for Winter awards
- by mid-June for Spring awards
Award decisions made after the above dates, will normally be issued weekly during the applicable term.
Cheques will be sent to complete Canadian and US mailing addresses only.
OSAP funding
Your OSAP funding will be deposited in your bank account 5-10 days after we confirm your enrolment. You may receive your funding in multiple deposits over several days.
New! It may be sent to the University to pay your fees if you opted in to this service. To find out, login to your OSAP application and go to the “School you plan to attend” section. Look for the “ministry may use a portion of my OSAP funding to pay…my school” option. Remaining OSAP funding will be deposited in your bank account when your fees are paid in full.
If you did not opt in to this service, you can make a payment using one of our payment options to pay the balance on your fee bill.
