This year, July 1 marks a momentous occasion for more reasons than one. Not only is the University of Waterloo turning 60, but the Federation of Students is turning 50, and of course, the land we call home is turning the big 1-5-0! There are a ton of celebratory gatherings happening both on and off campus in light of these exciting times. After all, what’s a birthday without a little celebration?Below we’ve compiled a list of five events for you and your friends to commemorate these grand milestones while you rock the red and white.

What better way to celebrate UWaterloo’s 60 years of innovation and Canada’s 150 than with your fellow Warriors?

Join the International Canadian Student Network (ICSN) on their adventure to one of Canada’s most beautiful landmarks: Niagara Falls! There’s no better way to appreciate where you’re from than to experience the most alluring parts of it firsthand.

Can150: ICSN Goes Canoeing

The canoe is a symbol unique to Canada, representing significant aspects of our culture and history.
