  • Mondays – Amendment or replacement of immigration document
  • Tuesdays – Co-op work permit
  • Wednesdays – Study permit
  • Thursdays – Temporary Resident Visa (TRV)
  • Fridays – Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP)

Do you find yourself panicking the night before an exam? Do you find that you forget everything you have studied when you start an exam?

Thursday, November 23, 2017 — 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM EST

Find out about Canadian regulations for working on- and off-campus as well as for co-op terms. International Student Advisors will also explain eligibility requirements to apply for the co-op work permit and a Social Insurance Number (SIN). 

Tuesday, November 28, 2017 — 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM EST

Is your Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) expiring? Do your parents need a TRV to enter Canada to attend your convocation? Are your dependents applying for a TRV to live with you in Canada? This workshop will focus on preparing an application for a TRV inside and outside of canada. International Student Advisors will discuss the application procedure, assessment criteria, and required documents including how to write an invitation letter.

Thursday, November 30, 2017 — 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM EST

A representative from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will be presenting on the requirements to apply for Permanent Residence in Canada through the Express Entry system. This presentation will be most beneficial for students who have qualifying work experience under Federal Skilled Worker or Canadian Experience Class. Space is limited.

Are you an international student graduating this term and intending to work in Canada? You may be eligible for a Post-Graduation Work Permit to work in Canada!

Thursday, December 14, 2017 — 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM EST

This info session is for international students who want to learn about their study permit and the regulations to follow when studying in Canada. The workshop will also touch on when and where to submit renewal applications and how to get a Social Insurance Number.
