Motivating Others - Student Leadership ProgramExport this event to calendar

Thursday, January 23, 2020 — 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM EST

Have you ever wondered how the power of diversity creates better groups/teams? How are diversity and motivation linked?

What are the necessary elements to create and sustain a motivating environment? What are some characteristics and/or actions that define people who are motivating? Does motivation come from within you or does motivation come from the group environment that is created?

The purpose of this workshop is to explore these questions. By the end of this workshop, you will have the ability to:

  • Learn about factors that impact motivation and demotivation from a leadership perspective
  • Reflect on your own personal motivation factors and preferences
  • Explore other’s motivational preferences and consider how to motivate diverse individuals on a team
  • Explore strategies and skills aimed at creating and sustaining motivation

Registration for this workshop opens on Monday, January 6.
