Scam alert - Fraudulent activity scam

Please be aware of an ongoing scam targeting students in Kitchener-Waterloo. The fraudsters pretend to be calling from government agencies such as Canada Revenue Agency, the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre, Service Canada or the Waterloo Regional Police and inform students that some identity theft had taken place under their Social Insurance Number. They tell students that in order to avoid repercussions, they must pay a fee immediately and deposit it into a safety deposit box.

Make the most of YOUR Fall Reading Week!

With the new Fall Reading Week, instead of a three day weekend at Thanksgiving, you get a bunch more days off! Between the Saturday before and the Sunday after Thanksgiving Monday, classes, seminars, labs, and other course components won't be happening. Assignments won’t be due. Tests, midterms, and exams won’t take place. Teaching Assistant (TA) duties will be suspended and there won’t be any Co-op scheduled interviews.

Applications to go on exchange during spring/fall 2020 and winter/summer 2021 are open on Waterloo Passport until November 1 at 3:59 p.m.
