Complete the International Student Travel Plans and Quarantine Form

​​All international students must fill in the International Student Travel Plans and Quarantine Form. The mandatory form asks about your travel history and plans - including your quarantine plan (if applicable). By filling out the form, we can all comply with the Government of Canada and University of Waterloo health guidelines related to COVID-19 and help keep each other safe.

Academic Readiness Bursary now available to students

Have you incurred costs related to studying remotely? You may be eligible for funds through the new Academic Readiness Bursary. It provides assistance for students who are registered in the fall 2020 term and incur costs related to studying remotely as a result of COVID-19.

Scam alert - CRA refund scam

CRA e-transfer scam.

Please be aware of an ongoing email scam targeting people filing a 2019 income tax return. The fraudsters claim a refund for a specific amount (e.g. $441.34) has been issued to the recipient, which will be deposited on credit card. The recipient is directed to log in at the CRA Revenue Office Portal and follow the instructions on the screen, including entering credit card details.
