Connect with others that share your interests, make new friends, develop useful skills, and most importantly, have fun! The beginning of term is always busy, make sure you take time to check out these January events that can help you get involved and stay connected during your time at Waterloo.

Athleti​cs Open House

Wednesday January 9, 2012 10am-2pm
Student Life Centre, Great Hall

Find out what the Department of Athletics has to offer you. There will be information available about Campus Recreation, Varsity Athletics, and job opportunities with Athletics. There will also be free giveaways and prizes to be won.

Feds Get Involved Fair

Tuesday January 15, 2013 11am-2pm
Student Life Centre, Great Hall

Explore the many volunteer opportunities available through the Federation of Students, meet current volunteers, and get answers to your questions. Learn how you can get involved, build your resume and make a valuable contribution to your peer community. 

Feds Clubs Days

January 17 and 18, 2013 from 11am-2pm
Student Life Centre, Great Hall

Student-run clubs will have displays set up throughout the Great Hall of the Student Life Centre (SLC) for you to explore. Feds has nearly 200 clubs that cover a wide range of unique interests and activities, so you’re sure to find something that catches your attention.

Student Services Fair

January 22, 2013 11am-2pm

Join representatives from a range of on-campus student services to ask questions and learn more about what each can offer. Visit each booth for a ballot to enter a prize draw.

Co-operative Education & Career Action Volunteer/Internship Fair

Wednesday January 23, 2013 11am-2:30pm
Student Life Centre, Great Hall

Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community, network, learn about your interests, and acquire new skills. Speak to representatives from over 50 organizations in attendance at the Volunteer Fair. Find out about available volunteer and internship opportunities in the Waterloo region and how you can gain experience.
