coffee and a book

With the new Fall Reading Week, instead of a three day weekend at Thanksgiving, you get a bunch more days off! Between the Saturday before and the Sunday after Thanksgiving Monday, classes, seminars, labs, and other course components won't be happening. Assignments won’t be due. Tests, midterms, and exams won’t take place. Teaching Assistant (TA) duties will be suspended and there won’t be any Co-op scheduled interviews.

We want you to make the most of YOUR Fall Reading Week! It's a chance for you to take some time to prepare yourself for the rest of term. How you spend your time off is totally up to you. Maybe that’s studying for upcoming midterms or exams, catching up on readings and assignments, resting and focusing on your personal wellness, or a little bit of everything. Whether you're an undergrad or grad student, heading home or staying around campus, we've put together a list of ideas and resources to consider while you’re off:

If you're sticking around campus for the week, The Centre, the Student Success Office, Health Services, and Counselling Services will be open as usual along with most other University offices and services. Student advisors and graduate coordinators will still be available. Check with your course instructors to see if they're around or available via email while you are off.
