Post-graduation work permit application updates

Monday, June 3, 2019

As of February 14, 2019, the post-graduation work permit application requires the official completion of studies letter and official transcripts, which are both obtained from The Centre in Needles Hall. If you have already applied for the post-graduation work permit after this date without including both documents, and have not received your post-graduation work permit yet, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has recommended that you upload the missing document to the IRCC web form. Make sure to include all information requested in the form including your application number and Client ID number. If you had any part-time terms (other than your very last term) or irregular terms off during your degree, it is important to explain the reasons with a letter of explanation and documents proving the reasons (if applicable). If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
