Hands holding coffee

Reading week is here and we want to help you make the most of your time off. Follow these tips to R-E-A-D:

R - Recharge

Writing midterms and finishing assignments can leave you feeling tired. Take this week to recharge so you can feel energized for the next half of the winter term. Remember to keep your momentum going though so it's not too hard to get back into routine when the break is done.

E - Easy

During reading week you can get things done at your own pace, so take it easy and keep it simple. Set yourself small and realistic goals for the week. Don’t over-plan or over-work yourself and set realistic priorities. Planning will help you focus and keep you on track. These templates could help you:

A - Ahead

If it works for you, you can also use this week to get ahead on assignments and essays. This will help make sure you’re not overwhelmed with upcoming deadlines after the break. Plus, you won’t be caught cramming at the last minute.

D - De-stress

Take time to relax and de-stress. Meet up with your friends and family or go explore the town and catch a movie. It’s important to have a balance between fun and work so give yourself a fun reward every time you cross something off your to-do list.
