Fall Reading Week is about to begin which means from Saturday October 10 to Sunday October 18…you do you! Classes, seminars, labs, tests, exams, and other course components won't be happening, and assignments won’t be due during Fall Reading Week. Teaching Assistant (TA) duties will be suspended and there won’t be any Co-op scheduled interviews.

This year, more than ever, we want to remind you that this is YOUR Fall Reading Week! It's a chance for you to take some time to prepare yourself for the rest of term so be sure to check-in with yourself and consider what a good break will look like for you. You might want to study for upcoming midterms, get caught up on readings and assignments, rest and focus on your personal wellness, or maybe it’s a little bit of everything. We've put together a one-page self assessment that can help you quickly figure out where you're at now and what you need from your break:

We've also put together some ideas and resources to consider that can help you make the most you Fall Reading Week. It’s always good to have a plan, but don’t worry if that plan goes out the window day one and you end up binge watching Tiger King…again.

Most online services and resources will still be available during Fall Reading Week. You can still reach out to your academic advisor and graduate coordinator while you’re off. Check with your course instructors to see if they are available if you need to connect during the week.
