UWaterloo Advising Conference

Advising: The Next 5 Years

We know the important and critical role advisors play in supporting the success and well-being of our students. The advisors conference, hosted by the Advising Community of Practice, takes place once a year and provides advisors from all faculties and campus departments a chance to come together for professional development specific to advising.

The fifth Annual University of Waterloo Advising Conference took place on Tuesday, April 30 in Fed Hall. In recognition of the conference's milestone, this year's theme was Advising: The Next 5 Years. The Professional Development Working Group worked hard to organize a conference that would deliver content to enhance advising practices and contribute to the student experience.
